Southern AlpsHouse:The Le Belvédère mountain chalet is in a unique location. It is on the balcony of the Haute Durance Valley. The valley is wedged between the Ecrins National Park and the Queyras Regional Park. The views are magnificent. You can marvel at a 360 degree uninterrupted view of the Hautes Alpes. Le Belvédère is three kilometres outside the village of Saint Crépin. The village is 1082 metres above sea level. The chalet is rustic and on the edge of a wood on a south facing slope.
The holiday accommodation is 90 m² and on the ground floor. There is a spacious terrace with uninterrupted views. You can enjoy numerous walks over marked paths straight from the chalet. The region is famous for its excellent mountain climbing and skiing. You can enjoy skiing in Puy Saint Vincent and Vars-Risoul, rock climbing in the valley, mountain climbing on the Ecrins glaciers and wild-water rafting on the roaring Guil and Durance Rivers. You can also enjoy mountain biking on the GR routes and single trails. Cycle racing on the famous Alpencols such as the Col de lIzoard, Vars, Agnel and Calibier attracts many cycling enthusiasts. The region also offers many activities for the elderly and for small children. The chalet is child-friendly and offers plenty of privacy.
The house owner lives in the same house where the apartment is situated.

In the
Alpes du Sud you will find the large ski areas Les Trois Vallées, les Deux Alpes and Alpe d'Huez. You can also enjoy the impressive mountain scenery with beautiful extensive nature parks like the Vercors. Or book one of the caves or go on the Napoleonroute.
Ski area: La Forêt BlancheThe ski resorts Vars and Risoul have joined La Fôret Blanche Resort. This resort is in the Southern Alps where several northern slopes, the high altitude, dry air and more than 300 sunny days a year make for perfect winter sports possibilities.
This resort has a total of 180 km of ski runs. Vars is the largest and most known of the two localities. You will mainly find blue and red ski runs here. There is also a very fast ski run here that is also used for the well-known Ski de Vitesse? competitions.
Risoul is a more family-friendly resort than Vars. Snowboarders are certainly in the right place in Risoul. Surfland, the largest snowboard park in Europe was built for them. This consists of a lit halfpipe of 100 meters and an enormous 800-meter fun park with the necessary obstacles. For music lovers, events and music spectacles are regularly organized on the ski runs.
You are certainly at the right place for perfect conditions and a surplus of sun.
