Charming cottage next to a golf course. Position: Tanlay, with its 16th century chateau, which has a 9 hole golf course in its grounds, is on the banks of the Canal de Bourgogne and has tennis courts, restuarants and local shops, all within walking distance of the cottage. Tanlay provides an excellent base for exploring Burgundy, famous for its vineyards and traditional cuisine and which offers a wealth of cultural and leisure activities including lovely walks in the countryside and bike rides along the canal where you can hire boats. Fishing is also possible in the canal and permits are available locally. Visit the market town of Avallon and the Cathedral town of Vezalay as well as the wine producing areas of Chablis and Beaune. La Jonquiere is a beautifully restored stone cottage with a large south-facing garden, perfect for sunbathing. Barbecue and garden furniture provided.

Magnificent château dating to the 16th and 17th centuries - Chateau de Tanlay. Situated on the Canal De Bourgogne which is ideal for walking and bike rides and where boats can be hired.
